RADIS: Observational study of rare retinal pathologies

STATUS:
DESCRIPTION
RADIS is an observational study focused on rare ocular diseases, with the primary objective of characterizing the natural history of some of these conditions. The diseases included in the study are very uncommon and currently have no available treatment.
RADIS is an exclusive study of the Institut de la Màcula.
Objectives
Population
Inclusion Criteria for Patients
Adult patients with rare ocular diseases affecting the posterior segment (retina, choroid, vitreous, and optic nerve), who are able to undergo the required tests and sign the informed consent.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with other concomitant pathologies of the posterior segment, those taking medication known to cause retinal or optic nerve toxicity, those with a history of intraocular surgery (other than cataract surgery), corneal or glaucoma surgery, and those participating in a clinical trial for an ocular disease or who have done so in the past 12 months.
