Intravitreal injections of different drugs are a procedure used to treat various ocular pathologies.

The technique consists of administering the drug through an intraocular injection. It is not a painful intervention for the patient and allows the treatment of several vision disorders, mainly exudative age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vascular problems, among others.
