AVOT

Perfecte, aquí tens només la traducció pura:

AVOT (Advanced Vision and Optometric Test) is a tool for the automated measurement of visual acuity, positive and negative contrast sensitivity, and color vision together with cone and rod function.

It allows us to evaluate visual acuity (VA) and Contrast Sensitivity Function (CSF) to establish normal or out-of-range values based on age, as well as any visual changes that may occur over time.

Through CAD (Colour Vision Assessment), AVOT can detect both congenital and acquired color vision deficiencies. Thanks to its high sensitivity, it enables detection of subtle color perception defects and quantifies the level of loss.

The Flicker Plus test is used to measure cone and rod responses (spatial, temporal, and spectral properties), detect normal aging, as well as selective rod loss in patients with AMD and other diseases affecting photoreceptors. Together with color perception assessment, these are two key tests that provide information about small functional changes occurring in the retina.

The AVOT test is an essential tool for monitoring visual function and provides useful quantitative information in the context of clinical trials, allowing the detection of small changes in each patient’s visual function and relating them to fundus findings and changes.
